North Sydney Executive Office

TIRAR’s luxurious and elegant door furniture is a continuous feature in the nautically inspired office composition recently created by Hammond design studio.

Here the deep and luscious tones of the best in fine timber have been brought together with an underscoring of the delightful Dolce Vita of 1960s Italy in its indomitable style.

A refined reference to classic contemporary designs are represented by cloud-coloured stone offset by modern stylish seating in luxury ebony leather and chrome in this architectural masterpiece, which is located in the magnificent 100 Mount Street building overlooking the world-famous Sydney Harbour and Opera House, and with a panoramic view of the illustrious city.

On entering this wonderful space there is a soft and inviting light that brings to mind the feeling one gets when leaving one’s home on the first morning of spring. This is met by the fall of light entering from the fabulous floor to ceiling windows and glass walls that bring the crispness of nature’s light in to create a perfectly balanced combination of the indoor and outside world.

To help in the creation of their clients’ vision of a nautical influenced office, Hammond enlisted the rich and deep tones of walnut timber to feature strongly amongst the other delectable timber used in the project. TIRAR’s sublimely streamlined Type Two walnut door-pull works brilliantly with the visually striking lines of the corridor; its eye catching beauty providing contrast to the magical burst of natural light and neutral tones that emanate from the office the corridor leads to.

And Tirar accompanies you through every door in this fabulous space. A fabulous and formidable ally offering a warm and welcoming hand into each space with their beautifully stylish Universal Lever adding a robust yet delicate touch to the perfect panels of the office doors. Tirar’s wonderfully original and unique Tui sliding door pull brings added sophistication, sensuality and allure elsewhere too, where it can be seen adding volume, with its beautiful curved lines, to the silky sheerness of the amber coloured timber of the office’s state of the art kitchen.

This is a space where, just like it is with the details of a yacht, each element has an important part to play both aesthetically and functionally.

Hammond has brilliantly brought together architectural designs that create an environment where you experience the feeling of being part of the elite fashionistas of 1960s Italy aboard a gloriously luxurious yacht, enjoying the best of what life has to offer while taking in the spectacular sea view.
